totally an adobe hype! I'm actually insanely fast in inkscape. I like the interface a lot better than adobe's. It's different, but once you get used to it, it kicks ass. For example the gradient tool which you can control by the pipette (pipette is even better than in PS cuz you can easily drag a circle and it gets you the median color from that area. And controling gradients is also faster with the way you can set them. I don't feel at all in need to get illustrator ever again. I can do everything in inkscape and now even more. It may still have some bugs, but most that annoyed me when I started with 0.46 are gone in 0.48 and it even has a great autosave feature that has saved my arse so many times, it's impossible to lose work now, not sure if illustrator features something like that. I think many people underestimate Inkscape, when you open it it looks very simple and many people I think associate it with GIMP. They have nothing in common though, different developpers etc. and the main difference is that GIMP SUCKS compared to PS while IS does not suck compared to AI (imo). GIMP has an annoyin interface, IS has an awesome one. It's really all about getting it to know, then it rocks. And there are enough great tutorials and a manual on the net. Also if I just imagine how inkscape will be once it gets 1.0.... I think that day AI will fall... Oh btw what I also love is that they support SVG and don't use faggot-monopoly-files like .AI.

well don't want to tl;dr you; long story short: inkscape rulez, AI is overrated

Thanks for the suggestion! :) Though I generally don't like noise very much cause it often makes the image look like it has less quality. But oh well, sometimes you just have to do what's best. XD

hmm.. sorry the doesnt say enything to me but its great that you like it it was more a experiment then a planned work because it was planned to ba a Star Ocean 4 Wallpaper so i didnt make he background suits the scan, i make first the background and chose then wich scan would be suits.

Anywaymaybe you can show me the it reminds you on on someday would love to know hw it is XD

Sorry, but there isn't a bigger version. The scan wasn't very good quality and I had to shrink it down to make it look right. I normally make wallpaper in the 1920x1200 size, though. Maybe next time =( )
